This little one was turned in to PAWS wildlife center in Lynnwood, WA after being found wandering alone by some teenagers.

Because it is not a wild duck, PAWS cannot rehabilitate and release it. So they call me to help place domestic ducks for them.

This one isn't related to Flapper. Since we started rescuing ducks a few years ago, we never hatch them... too many ducks need homes already.

Do you know what kind of duck it is?

I sure don't. Could be a pekin but might also be a mixed breed. For some reason I just don't feel it's full pekin. Seems a little small for that. Certainly adorable though. Pretty friendly, too.
