I know right!!! I know for sure the black is a boy and not sure still about splash. Tomorrow im doing a week 8 update, so make sure to check back!

Okay here's week 8, a little rough around the beard for splash, who im hoping is a pullet, and the black rooster is just such a handsome bird. Hes very cute, but getting a little feisty as their hormones start going crazy. Hes still got 2 white wing tips on both sides!

Here is week 9! They are almost as big as my silkie

Im going to go on a limb here and say the splash is a pullet. I am 85% sure.

This is fascinating to me! I have one, and I was sure it was male from how thick the legs are, but looking at your earlier pictures, your little splash had thick legs too. So there's hope!

Week 10! Black ameraucana is turning into a fine cockerel and splash is still a gender neutral mystery

Both have begun to make chicken noises in addition to peeping but no crowing as of yet
