    We've used a product called Quikrete for that on our silty soil. It has pebbels, sand and cement mixed tgether. It comes in a 60 lb bag that is somewhat managable. Just sprinkle it on the ground and scratch it in with a hoe. You can wet it with a hose or just wait until it rains or wicks...

    You need a planer to smooth out the planks and get them uniform. A planer, some polyurethane and some elbow grease can get you a glass finish.

    I never read reviews and just read the descriptions. We usually get what we pay for. The decision is whether it is going to be a long term investment or just another piece of junk to use for a while until it wears out.
