Question about "clean"ness of Muscovy Duck eggs in incubator

We have 7 Muscovy eggs we are trying to incubate ourselves. They were somewhat dirty with mud and muck but we carefully and lovingly removed all we could using only a dry paper towel and a bit of steel wool on one spot of one egg. We don't know if that egg is one that is developing though. There...

I am looking for poults, goslings, ducklings, and/or hatching eggs of these. I really would like to expand my flocks, I know it is early for much of them to be laying, but I am hoping some will be laying soon. Send me a PM or comment below with the information.

Hey there! So I have a flock of muscovies I've had them for about a year and a half. There are 13 hens and one drake at the moment, along with 10 babies. I will be keeping any female babies from those 10. This spring, I had another drake, but my current drake ostracized him and he passed away...

    Muscovy in the rain

Does anyone have a muscovy as silly as mine? She's in the back right. Check out the way she stands in the rain. I don't think she dislikes it because she never goes in or under the coop for shelter. She'll just stand in it looking like a penguin or a vampire. It's so silly. Is this normal lol?
