I'm thankful that the trees aren't fully leafed out.

Several years ago we had a predicted early autumn snowfall way before leaves had fallen. I asked the Princess to make a motel reservation for several days. When she asked why, I told her there would be power outages. (All this before we installed the house wide generator.) Sometimes I hate when I am right. We lost power for 2 or 3 days and a tree came down on the house.
