Hi there! Fern here is giving me rooster vibes. She’s got a major attitude, honestly the most wacko chick I’ve had. She’s 6 weeks old, Ameracauna. I’m being told the rust on the wings means rooster? Also this last week her comb has gotten very red. Thoughts rooster or hen? Thanks!

Probably male.

Here are some updated pics, they are 10-11 weeks old now. I’m still on the fence with this one!

I see why you can't decide!

The darker color in the wings is making me think male.
But the comb is so small and pale that I would call it a female, given that the bird is already 10-11 weeks old.

Unless it starts crowing, I would probably keep waiting to be sure, but I think there is a chance of that chick being a female with confusing feather color.
