Can my sick chicken OD on wax worms?

Just in case anyone decides to hydrate by mouth (beak) I want to be clear that a few times a day I would fill the syringe with 5-7 cc's of water and then squirt it into her mouth 2 to 3 cc's at a time. I don't think I could have gotten 5 cc's in in one shot either

Thanks everyone for your replies, I was away, working and otherwise exceedingly busy so not able to respond earlier.

I haven't tried the injections yet. She has started drinking a little water on her own but it's not much. She also will only eat live things, worms/meal worms and such....sigh....her energy level is improving but not great yet and poop is still highly abnormal greenish whitish mucus-like diarrhea.

Can I give poultry nutri-drench by mouth? Do I have to dilute it or do I give it straight? I estimate I can only get about 1cc into her at a time. Is there risk I could injure her by forcing her to take in fluids orally? Other than the obvious risk of aspiration that is? Any tips?

thanks!
