Counting the Days to Hatching

Hi all! Quick question. Does Day 1 start on the day you put the eggs into the incubator or the day you see the first signs of life? I started counting day 1 on the day I put them in and I just want to be certain I am calculating correctly. Thanks!!

People do it differently, but I think most count the days as day one begins when you set the eggs and ends at that same time next day. Maybe you'd enjoy participating in the July hatchalong. Day one is 24 hours after setting your eggs.
So if you set them on a monday, hatch day 21 days later will be on a monday.
