Hello from the Blue Ridge Mountains!

Hello all! I live in VA, in the middle of the country of south west Virginia (not WVA, the south western part of VA) I always tell people I live on the skinny side of VA. LOL! I live with my darling boyfriend on his family own dairy farm. We are excited to get started raising some chickens. We've decided that we want to keep Buff Brahma's, and are now working on planning our coop. Currently we are undecided about whether to buy a prefab or build or own. Since we are sooooo new to everything, we'd gladly take any advice! Look forward to seeing you all on the boards! Happy farming/raising!
