Our additional chicks came today. 11 Barred Rocks, and a total of 25 mix of Cream Legbars and Welsummer. We received 2 extra and it looks like Roos which is fine. This is just the barred rocks which we added to the brooder that had two Araucana chicks. Most are under the heat plate. Now we are up to 4 brooder boxes which eventually 1/2 will be turned into tractors for the teenage chicks. Chicken Math!

Cream Legabar Roo. He seems a little weak so we are feeding him water with electrolyte and probiotics. Hopefully he will get better.

They turn two weeks tomorrow and it was a nice day out so they got to go outside for the first time. Of course my wife only takes pictures of her favourite. Here she is standing with the boss of the group. The black one is already protective of everyone, he even tried scaring the big chickens away from looking in at them.
