What a good idea, thank you. Beautiful chickens too!

Has anyone here introduced chickens to a duck flock? I'm thinking once they're feathered, we should take a couple field trips first. The ducks will probably be scared of them (they were terrified of a rubber mat we put under their water dishes 🤣)

Thank you so much! We have 1 Pekin in the dozen, so we'll keep feeding them this food without adding Niacin. I've read you can feed them the same crumble, but add oats after 2-3 Weeks to cut down the protein. Have you had success with this? Or should I switch to a lower protein crumble? I only...

New ducklings arrived from McMurray on Wed. We're feeding them Dumour 22% protein with niacin duck crumbles. Should I be adding additional niacin to their diet at this point?

Bunny sold to us as male and we have "him" with 2 other males. Can anyone confirm the gender for us? I'm not very experienced with this, but my hunch is female.

We are first time duck owners, anxiously awaiting our ducklings from McMurray Hatchery this May. I've done a lot of research, and settled on an all female flock (11 ducks, different breeds). Has anyone else had a flock this large with no drake? Should we add a drake or 2? And if so, what breed...
