I rescue parrots in Central Florida so I have many birds but Chickens can be dangerous around Parrots so I would also like to know if anyone has experience in protecting pet birds from farm animals?

I hatched 17 ducks in a home made incubator of just a childs tent and a heat lamp 13 hatched and only one ended up with this wing ailment I thought maybe they had interbred Good to have answers I wish I had known about this Technic then great advice
Where in the usa do you think is best areas for homesteading ? Im not just looking for Florida people I want to hear about how you built your farm all over country
wow what a beauty, cant wait to see the full grown bird Maybe you just got a color rareity like a white whale if so you could create a new line wow what a great opportunity
this is a great way to supplement your income . They go for 25 bucks and up a dozen I feel better about buying from a farmer rather then tractor supply
you must experience the same heat we do here in Florida but at least it is dry. I cant find any homesteaders or hobby farmers in my area at all. What chickens do you recommend for heat tolerance and do you sell fertilized eggs?
thank you My hubby is able to do most of the construction but since we are already retired we are in a hurry to get everything staged out and built so we can just relax and enjoy a natural healthy lifestyle with just the regular maintenance
