Is hay or pine better for your chickens ???

I personally don't like using hay as it doesn't dry out well and clumps and grows mold easily. Pine shavings are better as they tend to stay drier and pose less of a risk of crop impaction if ingested. Straw is my preferred bedding, but pine shavings are fine too.
