Im getting excited for peepers. With our power outage and all that excitement the other day, I am happy to report nearly everyone made it into lockdown looking strong. A couple I think are quit, but I locked them down anyways. Got my big ole brooder set up and tested for holding temp this week. I’m excited to see what hatches. They are going up for sale, but I’ll keep some from the next batch.

Here are my three! I'm in love. Anyone have any ideas what colors these guys will be? I'm not familiar with silkie colors at all.

Always seems like when I get done writing " nothing happening for hours and hours..." Had three hatch in the 4:00 hour. One of them was my backwards chick. That one zipped horizontally for a bit before going the correct way.

15 hatched for me today/yesterday! All happy in the brooder now and looking beautiful!

Nothing here yet for my remaining eggs. I did shine a light through the incubator to check and 1 was internally pipped this afternoon.
