I've got 4 lavender Orpington chicks, they just turned 4 weeks old and... well. They were sexed as pullets but I'm like 99% sure that Lucifer is a little roo. Hardly a month old and already has some comb growth, redness coming in, and his tail is microscopic compared to the other chicks. When I noticed his tail coming in slowly I just thought that's the way it is, I've had slow feathering chicks turn out to be hens.
I also know that lavender orps are notoriously hard to sex so lmk what you guys think. The first two pics are of lucifer, and the second two pics are of another chick his age for comparison

Im going to back you up and say I don't think lucifer is actually a luci. It's the waddles that make me wonder, but that's just my opinion.

It's too early to be able to tell for sure, but that comb is pretty large for so young. I'm leaning pullet for now, as it's still pale.
