4 week SLW

Had a scare today when my 4 week old Silver Laced Wyandotte suddenly had a bloody neck. Luckily, upon cleaning “her” up, it looked like she just broke a toenail that was bleeding and then scratched her face making it look bloody. Crisis averted. I was noticing her wattles when I was cleaning her up though. I’ve heard Wyandottes get pink wattles early, but is this too much? Really hoping little Winnie is a girl. I can get more pics of her comb tomorrow.

I'd say it's still too early to tell, but yes the Wyandotte ladies do pink up early and will have you scratching your head wondering for a few weeks.
