These are Olive Eggers. I have six of them, plus six Easter Eggers, and one Amaracauna in this batch of pullets. The OEs are by far the more friendly and inquisitive of the bunch.

My RIRs have been such reliable layers. Even through the winter they all continue to lay one large or XL egg per day. About 1-2 times a week, one them goes the extra mile and lays us one of these gargantuan double yolk monsters. They are so big they won’t fit in our cartons.

Repairing an old coop on my property to house my growing flock. It has been quite a challenge given that I have very few cordless tools and no spare money to buy any right now. Anywho, I’m about 75% complete with the repairs. Thought I’d share this TikTok I made yesterday.
