I have had mice and sparrows eating my duck food for years. This past year, the rats arrived. To help, my husband bought me a “Grandpa’s Feeder” for Christmas. It is a feeder which opens when the bird steps on a lever in front of it. It took my ducks almost a month to get good at using it but now they do easily. My problem is that they all look rather fat to me. The feeder holds over a weeks worth of food so they get as much as they want. They are 3-5 years old. Do they look overly fat to you?
