I'm not expecting a good hatch, as the eggs went through the USPS. I'd be content with a couple, ecstatic over 3-4. And GIRLS!

Though that egg was taken at 12 days old. Now it is day 16. I still don't believe how big that embryo was. I mark them down the day I get them so that was very strange to me. Also can't see in the egg anymore.

Hopefully it's a early hatcher so I get to see it hatch before I sell them.

I've never had a hatch too wet - only too dry. So I run typically around 45%, then up to 65% at hatch time. If you feel under a setting hen it is warm and moist - not damp or wet, or dry.

I removed the turning tray tonight, added a shelf liner as per several sources

Tomorrow is Lockdown.

I also added one tablespoon of filtered water, humidity is up 3%.

In about an hour I'll check it again.

I sniffed the eggs in the incubator and those that Tamar is brooding, none smelled, and I have a sensitive nose.
