How much fodder to feed per chicken?

I'm going to be getting 15 chickens in a month and I'm going to be setting up a fodder system. I was curious how much fodder/how many pounds a day you feed your flocks with how many birds?

I usually have 12-15 in my flock and feed them about a 12x14 tray every day or so... I only do it in the winter when they are unable to find fresh grass and such on their own. the flock I have now seems to like the sprouts better, so I don't grow it very high anymore.. feed it at about 5-6 days rather than 7 or eight.. I free feed too, and am unsure the "poundage of food they eat as they free range and also get scraps from the kitchen.
