Introducing myself and Family

I signed up today and am very exicted to be joining the backYardChickens Forum. I sent a random posting this morning and it was answered by a member in Texas. I explained that I am and engineer working in Houston Texas and traveling home to Arkansas every two week and will be moving here permanently as soon as our son gets out of school this year. We are looking for 5 to 20 acres somewhere around Houston to establish a greenhouse, organic farming and chicken operation. We are not rich but acting on a long overdue dream. If I can help someone with a mechanical design issue I would be happy to do it.
