I don't know you, but I find myself very much liking your attitude. Very best fortune to you in this!Yeah, people sell them for $7 a dozen at where I'm going to- I'm undercutting simply because they're selling blue/green eggs... which obviously makes a difference (and also because $7 a dozen is obscene)
UMMM...... HAVE YOU BEEN TO JEFFERSON? (norcal) EGGS SELL FOR 3-4 $ easilyThat is too cheap for California.
I agree.I'd say sell a dozen for 3-4 dollars, and put if the chickens were free-range, and your phone number.
( And yes, to all the ones who saw I would sell a dozen for seven, I have changed my price! )
competition... is all relevant, sell less eggs for more money. Make a FB post, I have enough eggs for ONE more weekly customer, laid by chickens with names $7 per dozen. The compititon
Simply for the right reason that because otherwise no persons feel inclined to buy, at least in my circle of customers. I once raised price to 5$ and quickly lost customers. Maybe they sell better in Socal but 5$ a dozen is a bit much for here let alone 7. Maybe because a substantial amount of residets have their own chickens or maybe because there are people I know selling for $3 and $3.50competition... is all relevant, sell less eggs for more money. People like to feel special.
Or just sell them cheap, but why?
