I don't think it does. When I go out in a few minutes, I will give it another sniff.

Absolutely no smell. But pretty makes up for that.

Interesting! Mine has a very distinct musky smell. Probably because they're in a different genus

I have no clue. Interesting hypothesis, though

I'd expect the smell to be there at all times, and if anything, less during the hot hours. Pollinators aren't as active during that time, so producing a smell to attract them when they're not out and about wouldn't be matter
