I have a 5-6 week old Bantam that was given to me when it was a couple of weeks old. It's really driving me crazy that I don't know if it's a boy or a girl and was wondering if they show the same signs as standard breeds.

I had them outside the day before yesterday and it seemed like it could be a roo by the way it was standing but since I don't know the breed, maybe it's just a oegb.

There is no sign of a comb at all though, should there be one by now if it were a roo? I also have three standard pullets and they had more of a comb at that age then this little Bantam.

I also have a Bantam Frizzle that's a couple of weeks younger and it has a little comb and even little waddles (sp?) coming in. I really can't tell if that one is a boy or a girl but that one doesn't bother me as much.

I'll be taking them back out later and will take a pic. We're finally getting to build their coop this weekend, stupid weather.
