Hi my name is Sandra. I’ve had chickens before, many more than what I do now. We’d been through so much since then but long story short my first flock was wiped out by a raccoon most likely, while we were on a vacation. I learned a lot from backyard chickens. Now I have a much smaller flock. Still using what I’ve learned. Which really has been so very valuable! We have recently been “adopted” by a peacock who has been a nomad as such from what the neighbors are saying. I will now be learning a bit about these, from y’all, I guess. Looking forward to it!

I love that term, "nomad". Our neighbor about 1/4 mile away has three of them that are nomads and wind up in our yard. Maybe that's just how peacocks are? They want to know if we want them later this summer. The chickens run hide when they come so I am not so sure.
