I see something light on the top of the head, but I'm not quite sure if it's light-colored down or a trick of light & shadow that the camera happened to catch.

Can you get a picture of the top of the head? Just hold the camera up so it points straight down at the chick.

If the chick does have a light spot on top of the head, then it would have to be a male. (Barred Rock females can have a light spot on their head, but Black Sexlink females cannot.)
