Society finches in outdor aviary

I have a 2' x 8' x 4' aviary that is covered and has an enclosed "room" in the top corner. I was wondering if I could keep society finches out there through the the spring, summer and fall. ???? and through the winter??? I really want to keep the finches out there. The whole pen is covered so it has plenty of shade.

It would depend on how cold it gets in the winter where you are, and where you plan to locate the aviary. The dimensions seem a bit small for something I'd have free-standing out in the yard, but if you were thinking of putting it on a porch or deck against a wall, that might be another story. In any case, I wouldn't put any inside birds outdoors until the nighttime temps remain above 50F, so they can acclimate. Chances are you'll have to bring them indoors for winter.
