Update on my pet duck about water belly

For everyone who tried to help me & knows the story about me asking about treating water belly naturally...Thank you for talking to me. My pet duck had a little bit of water belly. I found out that he had a tumor and spots of cancer in his stomach. I took him to a bird specialist 3 days before he died. I didn't know that vet existed until about less than a week before he died. The employees there told me he died in his sleep. The specialist veterinarian said he had more time with him & can figure out a way to help him be ok. I didn't know what to do so I left them at the veterinarian's office because I was debating on what procedure to do. Then I got a phone call the next day thank day he died. I feel very heart broken . The veterinarians that he saw before I found the specialist didn't know what they were doing. I feel really bad that I couldn't give him the proper veterinarian care because the 2 he saw before the specialist didn't know what they were doing.
I am depressed & have been crying.

You clearly loved your duck and did the best that you could. Even the best, most skilled veterinarian can't always save our babies.

No words will make it better, but I am very sorry about your duck and his too-short life.

oh no … i’m so sorry… i am also crying still over my beloved blue runner duck, Daffodil. she had a traumatic death recently when i had to put her down it was horrific
when they are pets and we love them so much it’s terribly hard to get over
