These are great when a bird needs isolation for any number of reasons. Adding smaller wire and shade would make a good day pen for chicks. I bet it wouldn't be hard to anchor down too.
The steps are clear enough I could definitely build this coop. The only thing missing was a bit of explanation on why you decided to go with this coop and some other supportive information for members who might not already know about this coop style.
