Home of many a goat and chicken. We have several breeds of chickens, we do not have a rooster, so the only chicks that show up here are on purpose from the feed store!

The chickens on the little farm we call home belong mostly to my now 8 year old son, who has been raising chickens, almost all the way on his own since he was 2. Completely taking care of them from 5 until now. (I am trying to help with two new chicks that we want a hen to raise...long story)
He loves his "Ladies" . the breeds that he has are Rhode Island Reds, One Polish Bantam, Buff Orpingtons, Black Australorps, Two Aracaunas, Two silver Laced Wyandottes, and now Two Barred Rocks. He also has two Buff Runner Ducks. Go figure, it was a straight run purchase and he ended up with two Drakes!
