Additional InformationFOWL. A bird of any kind, domesticated or wild, including poultry. § 6-1-3 NOISES. It is unlawful and hereby declared a public nuisance for any person to harbor or keep any animals which habitually bark, howl, yelp, squeal, shriek or make any other sounds which disturb the peace and quiet of the neighborhood, or in such a manner as to interfere with the comfortable enjoyment of life or property by an entire community or neighborhood or by a considerable number of persons. § 6-3-8 DOGS KILLING ANIMALS, LIVESTOCK OR FOWL. (A) If any person discovers a dog killing, wounding or chasing animals, livestock or fowl or discovers a dog under circumstances which show conclusively that it has recently killed animals, livestock or fowl, he or she may pursue, capture and surrender it to the Animal Control Division. (B) The owner of a dog is liable for damages caused by the killing, wounding or chasing animals, livestock or fowl. (E) Accessory buildings for the keeping of small animals or fowl shall be located a minimum of 15 feet from any property line, or if used for the keeping of livestock, an accessory building shall comply with the yard setbacks required for the main building or, if other setbacks are specified, those shall apply. Shelters for the keeping of small animals and fowl may be erected to match the height of the existing main building.
