Great article, when my girls first started laying I did see some eggs that I thought could be a bit of blood. Not much just a tiny bit. Now I know why that happened thank you it was a mystery that is now solved.

Excellent article. I am very new to chicken keeping and my birds are only 12 weeks old however I see relationships forming. If one goes to far they worry. I can easily see them mourning a loss. I have read so many stories that leave little doubt that chickens feel a range of emotions including the feeling of loss. Wonderful article on a sad but fascinating subject.

This is a lovely informative article. Chickens make so many sounds and this is a nice run down of the more common ones. Good job!

Very funny and well written! There should be a Chicken TV watchers anonymous (CWA) but all we would do is talk about watching chickens.

Great article! Answered all the questions that I had about the best thing for my coop which has a dirt floor and is very dry. This is going to be how I do things as well both in my coop and in my covered run. Thank you 😊

Wonderful well written well thought out article of a practical and good looking coop. I have converted half of an existing building to end up with a coop of the same dimensions as yours and have referenced your article multiple times for ideas and practical considerations. Thank you for a awesome coop build article!
