A very easy to follow guide for the sad reality many of us face: "Why did my bird die, and what caused it so that I can help the rest of my flock?" Sending a bird for necropsy may be morbid but it can give us the answers we need to move forward.

This coop not only looks incredible and appears very well built (with careful attention to the chicken's needs, predator-proofing, and ventilation), but is very well documented with clear explanations by the author! Well done!

What an impressive coop! Very solid, and of course beautiful. While this may be beyond the financial ability of many, it is inspiring and even without the lovely finish, gives a great idea of how to frame in a really solid coop.

I think one thing many coop builders overlook is the ease/ability to clean the coop well, but this author has it covered! The linoleum is surely very easy to hose out and keep clean in this coop... and the easier it is to clean, the more likely one is to clean it! A very secure build overall with the welded wire/hardware cloth over the windows. The only thing that might make this more secure is better fencing and a "skirt" on the run, but the coop itself looks great!

This is a cute pallet coop for regions that do not experience cold winters and will benefit from all that great ventilation! This may need a bit more roof overhang in some areas to keep driving rain out (wet coop interiors are bad news) but otherwise the descriptions and photos are very helpful. I also appreciate the "realness" of the author; when they made mistakes or would have done something differently, they say so! Good stuff.

I love this detailed build on how you made your coop inside your existing barn! This will surely be helpful and give others ideas for if they already have a large structure to use. I love the "drip" area for in case the waterer spills! If anyone else is looking to use this idea, I suggest securing the drip area with hardware cloth just in case a predator tries to break and enter.

Truly excellent craftsmanship on this coop! A well described build, as well, and obvious careful consideration has been given to the chicken's needs as well as the ease of access by caretakers; full-sized doors and walk in capability are great "quality of life" additions as a coop that is easy to get in and out of by people is one that is also easier to keep clean. I love all the hardware cloth; this should be very secure. The only concern is possibly that it might need additional ventilation, but the caretakers should be able to discern this and add additional vents if necessary.

I love this coop build, and love all of your documentation and photos. The coop is very secure (love the buried hardware cloth 'moat', thoughtful latches to keep clever raccoons out, and more hardware cloth everywhere!) and the run is tall enough to walk in... something I personally found important for interacting with the birds, cleaning, etc. I also love all the vents. This small coop has it all if you live in an area with predators and just want to keep a few birds. Very well done!
