Thanks for sharing this. I see someone's asking about frostbite so I searched for someone else who explains it better than I could. I'll give them link to your article. Thank you!

This article helped me understand what happens with frostbite, how the healing progresses and how to go about it mentally. Because we always want to help and do something but sometimes is just better to leave it alone and let time heal.
This helped me so much with my roo. You're amazingly helpful.
Thanks for the pics - I have a roo with comb frostbite so was wondering if it would severely impact him and now I think he will be fine. Great to learn from those with experience - thanks for the article!
An eye-opening illustration ! Most people don't have a clue how difficult it can be to prevent or treat Frostbite until it happens to one of theirs! Thanks for sharing!
Pictures make this article incredibly helpful. Thank you for sharing this
The pictures in this article are great, especially the ones showing the progressive healing. A few pointers on prevention or cause would be very helpful to people who are just beginning winter-chicken-keeping.

It's there..."Despite copious ventilation, a closed water system, dry bedding technique...I still get some frostbite every year.
Have concluded it's unavoidable in my climate"
Good information. Thanks
