Keeping A Mixed Flock!

Fairly informative. Generally it is a bad idea to keep a mixed flock. Especially with water fowl and chickens. Waterfowl can easily pass on diseases to chickens, which it really didn't explain.

Though everything in this article was on the negative side. It would've been nice to see any positive reasons.

We have a mixed flock. We feed in the same area's, they sleep together, my one Ayam Cemini sits on all eggs lol. Duck, Call duck, chicken, she don't care. She will sit and raise year around. In the same coop but once the babies are hatched we put mom and the babies up into a small chicken run. For the most part every thing goes good with them all together ❤

Mixed flocks can be very dangerous for your poultry, be careful when mixing. Keep them separate if at all possible ?
