This my first attempt at building a coop, its Kennel conversion that my Black Lab never uses, its internal measurements are 36" x 30" x 36" high plus nest boxes.
Nothing is fixed down yet inside, the vent has just been added,it will be approx 18" from a fence and just below the top of the fence line,I can add a flap to stop the strong Winter winds if need be is it big enough or too big?
The roof is hinged so it can be cleaned easier, the floor has wooden slats which have small gaps between them, is it advisable to put Lino down for ease of cleaning.
The
coop will be 18" off the floor, with a 15' x 4' run, not sure on the design of that yet, Roof on it or not etc
