Nice job! Around how much did it end up costing?

As of today more or less $1,100
AMAZING coop! And especially for your first "attempt", it came out to be a success!
Seems like your wife likes! She’s added some beautiful fern decor! My fav when adding colour to our coop. Good job! Very impressive for a first timer!
Looks like you've got a natural talent!! Great job!
very well constructed. My chickens would be jealous. I intend to reconstruct their coop in the spring.

That is a beautiful, functional structure! Well done.
The photos fill in the construction/design details. The fluffy ones look quite healthy, content and safe. If you decide to take this on the road (HAH), I'm in the market for a garden shed/new coop!!! My coop is functional but not lovely at all. sigh.
That is such a wonderful coop! I won’t show my ladies or they would become jealous!

I don't think anyone would know you had no experience with building just looking at the finished product! Your coop & run turned out great.
Wow, this doesn't look like a first-timer's build! I am so impressed and wish I could do the same.
ETA: I only gave 4 stars because I'd love to see pics of the inside, with the chickens in there!
What does the finished interior look like with chickens living in there? I'm so curious to know how the roosts and nest boxes are arranged inside, how your pop door works and any other features you may have. I really like your building progress photos. That outdoor covered run area is amazing! Beautiful eggs!!
For someone who stated you had no building experience you masked it very well with this project. Great build and liked the design. Dont know how any wife couldnt like this.

Ha ha believe me zero experience, but the boy in me to keep those chicks was so intense to motivate me to be a builder. There are a few imperfections on those frames and floors and roof but I was able to rigged some solutions only true construction guys will spot right away. Thanks so much, I was so proud of it that I feel like I had to share them, I guess anyone can build anything if you feel like your life depends on it LOL.
GREAT JOB! I love your coop and your wife must be happy with all the fresh eggs!

Yeah, at first she was skeptical then when she saw some of the results and the eggs coming, she started telling her friends and wanted to to see the coop and the chickens in turn force me to sell some precious eggs.
I really like how you used the ceramic pots!
What a great idea. Are they working out well for you?

Thanks Kiki, yes those flower pots were lifesaver since I was tired and exhausted watching YouTube how to do roofing and apron for runs I had to make something quick and practical. Matter of fact I got 6 of those now, 3 in the coop and 3 in the run. The hens only use the 2 upper sections though and I make sure they are covered/Lined by shavings so it won’t be slippery, those were great space savers.
