I've read that silkies like the ground, nesting low, sleeping on the floor or roosting very low, could you make her her own little roost? maybe three or four inches off the floor?

Thank you. And now she has slept with them on the roost 2 times at least that what I know. She jumps to the second nesting boxes and parkors her way up there but she'll make it half way and then she lets me put her up there. I check on her to make sure she hasnt fallen cause she is very clumsy. But since shes the littlest she is more shy and wont let my pick her up and stuff

I've currently have 6 silkie chicks at various ages, trying to figure out what their needs are going to be.

There probally going to be very clumsy

my one is. Literly I put up down on both feet and as soon as she takes a step she falls. It's very funny

Can she see? sometimes their heads are so fuzzy it makes it hard for them to see so they trip alot and can be picked on.

Shes 9 weeks tomrrow but her head feathers I dont really know. For me she looks like she can see I might be able to get a picture.

maybe pick her up and look her in the face, see if you can easily see her eyes.

I looked at her and she may need a trim but wont let us touch her head so were gonna wait

might be easier to do at night, I know they say if you have to move one and people do it for checking for lice and mites at night.

Silkies have no lift wing feathering. That is why some stay nesting on the floor. Simply because they cant fly up to the roost like regular feathered breeds.
Modify your roost to more a lader type so she can hop up to the others or build a ramp she can walk up. It's not good or sanitary for them to stay on the floor of the coop.
