The Truth And Guide To Red Sex Links.

Educational! Love this. I was trying to help someone find out what is wrong with their red sex-link but after many back and forth's and not resolving their issue, now I think I know. I shared this with them.
I have 1 and love her so much she is funny girl. I'm not looking forward to her seeing her fall apart like what I read thank you for the information very helpful
This was a great article. I have lost production red hens due to ovarian cancer. It’s a horrible thing that these hens are produced to lay an abnormally high number of eggs in exchange for their life. If your chickens are your pets you should do yourself a favor and skip this breed.
Didn’t realise they could go by so many different names. Mine were advertised as Brown Chicks (UK) and there wasn’t loads of info on them but this has really helped. One of mine has just started laying today (17 weeks) was so exciting getting that first egg.
I’d just have to say that 2-3 years is generous. The laying stops just after 18 months or is very inconsistent.

Also , it’s very sad to watch them literally break down . Their feathers break and they get super skinny, but their bodies still try to produce those eggs ,

an example of mankind messing with science to get what they want ,

I love my birds , these broke my heart
