Wanderbrook Coop

I love this coop! Great article.
Beautiful result! Good use of photos and instructions in the write-up.
What a beautiful coop and run! I just love it!
Your chickens are super lucky to have such a unique atmosphere to live in. I wanted to do something really neat like yours (totally love all the eclectic details and the fabric) but ours is outside our main fence and in our pasture. So the cows and calves would destroy everything if I did. This is awesome! How does it work in the winter when temps drop? Did you have to make any modifications?
This coop is simply straight up pleasing to my eyes. I aspire to such a coop for my ladies . . . SOME day.
Have you raised the roost or is it still fairly close to the floor?
Wow! What a whimsical set up! Function and beauty!

Did you put slim pieces of wood over the hardware cloth on the outside? I didn't read that in the article.

How has the set up worked out for you?

Inspiring design and artistic flair with purpose. Diagon Alley worthy indeed.
Love the rustic and repurposed look! the disco ball cracks me up! Lots of enrichment for the birdies
This is so beautiful, fun and definitely giving me European gypsy vibes. I love the angles especially they really make this coop and run stand out🖤

What a beautiful coop and run! A lot of hard work it seems. How do you like the leaves as the coop bedding?

Thank you! The leaves have been great, but we had a limited supply of them.... so I've been layering chopped straw into the mix. There has been much trial and error on our part... I mix/flip the bedding around occasionally to aerate it and so far it's been working pretty well.
Nicely built and the pictures were helpful in following along with the build process. Of course, my favorite part of the finished coop is the pink door :D
