Good idea for an article! With it also being Christmas, did the weather present additional challenges? Glad everyone recovered and plans are in place!

This is a good place to start. A backup chicken tender and a checklist to mske their lives easier is always a plus, and gives the keeper peace of mind in case they have an emergency and cannot tend their flock for a period of time.

A good lesson to plan ahead for care for your flock, in case you are not able.
