Be careful what you ask for! I was asking for Silkie's and a member from our Where am I/where are you-in NH section called Piglet said he had Silkies! He didn't want to keep them threw the winter so he was willing to meet us by the McDonalds in Tamworth. I was sick so my DD went for me. He kept asking if this was a silkie and if there were boys because he's not the chicken lover just the hubby who does what he can for me. So anyway they can home. Now piglet says he didn't know I wanted quality show silkies! I am keeping his email because there is no spot anywhere that says they were a mix! He told my husband that somewhere down the line someone jumped the fence.

My new Cochin's egg. I purchased her and another (6 in all) from fellow member of BYC "humphreyfarms" on 6/13/13. 2 were Cochins one we named Carrie a Splash Cochin(she called her Puff) and the other was Maggie Mae a blue Cochin(Steele Magnolia). Sue's paperwork stated that they were born 5/18/12. It wasn't til 7/27/13 that Carrie laid her first egg. And this was the weight of it. Such a little egg from such a Big Fluffy Girl!
