Yes, these 2pr. are exhibition geese from Holderread. They were the sweetest little babies until they started laying eggs. Now, they are my geese from Hell!!

Thanks on the dummy egg. I think I'll wait a couple wks before breaking up the nest. There's about 28-30 eggs and the dedicated one starting sitting full time the WK of 4/17. So, I'll give it to 5/28 to be sure. They're probably not fertile, but I don't want to chance it. She looks in good...

I'm sorry I didn't keep better records. On 3/7, there were 7 eggs. On 3/13, 12 eggs, on the 17, there was a 2nd nest. One goose started sitting full time the week of 4/17. I'm not sure of the exact date. The 2nd goose started sitting 5/1. With these calculation, is it to premature to break up...

How long will the goose sit on her eggs if they're not fertile? Will I have to take the eggs away from her? They started laying 1st week in March
