    The Olive-Egger thread!

They aren't super dark brown or anything. Even a light green would be fun.

    The Olive-Egger thread!

This thread is great but so long. One question.... My Whiting True Blue roosters over say a SLW or Red Star, what color eggs should that chick lay? Could it be green?

Sick hen, brought in from the cold

I have a hen that was acting off, she was fluffed up in the corner not acting like the other chickens. The other hens started picking on her before I could get her out of the coop and she ended up getting pretty torn up on her back. So now she's in a kennel in our heated garage and seems to be...

    Whiting True Blue info

My Whitings lay pretty consistently I would say every week I get 5-6 from each 9 month old hen. The eggs are smaller than both my Red Stars and My Leghorns. They started laying at 19-21 weeks. I have so many blue pullet eggs right now in my fridge. We ate the rmean roo and have 4 junior...

McMurray order of Red Stars and Whiting True Blues

I've never has EEs but I do like how the True Blues lay regularly. We have lots of different colors, my favorite is black with gold\red streaks down her back.

McMurray order of Red Stars and Whiting True Blues

My Whiting True Blues started laying this week. 19 weeks old. Actually one of them started laying. I'm pretty happy about it, some of my 19 week old Red Stars are laying and one of my 17 week old White Leghorns is laying as well.

    What breed am I?

I'm not sure. Probably a dumb question but can you tell comb type at just a few days old?

    What breed am I?

This little lady came from Cackle Hatchery in the Rainbow layer mix. She seems to be lavender or silver on her back.
