Anyone know of someone who breeds/sells Bantam Favorelle in Michigan or Ohio? Anyone going to nationals that has eggs/chicks/juveniles/adults? I'd prefer to buy just 2 pullets but I see they are hard to find so I'm open to all options really, just didnt want/need a bunch so didnt want to have to...
Oh Dang, I think that's the only way she sells eggs, she doesnt need to go anywhere else since she always has at least a few day wait list (during peak times it can be a couple weeks). Have had Amazing results from her. Better than any other breeders I have gone through and I think how she...
If you have a FB look up Brenda Smith, she isnt in AZ but I've had GREAT hatch rates with her shipped eggs and she isnt super expensive. She packs amazingly well. I bought a dozen eggs and had 16 hatch.of which I got at least 6 showgirls and I think only 2 or 3 of the pens I picked eggs from had...
So I'm on the search for good quality stock of Buff Silkies, I understand that you dont know if an egg or chick will be show quality. With that being said I'd like to purchase eggs or chicks from someone who shows Buffs. I have some from one breeder but would like another line as well, I REALLY...

So what would one do if they bought wood ducklings not realizing you needed a permit, the person they were bought from never provided paperwork, I realize the "purchaser" in this scenario was lack luster on their knowledge on permits, but now realizes these guys would be better off in the hands...
I have near 100% hatch rate with my own bantam cochin eggs in this incubator. Never had a problem even though the small eggs do tend to turn funny sometimes.

How did the Broody hen hatch them? I have a broody, and just got eggs shipped but I dont trust she will stay put and hatch them, her first time being broody and she has been broody for a good 2 weeks already
From the outside the nasal cavity looks clear, I'm going to try and flush see what I get but he said if it was bacterial the antibiotics would have helped, if it was viral other chickens housed with him would be showing symptoms/ would have contracted it. So I'm going to do a flush/rinse (That's...
So Update- The Avian Vet at MSU said it not an infection. It is a blockage in his sinus, reccomend doing a nasal flush. I am very happy it's not an actual illness and Dont know why people jump to MG or IB from 1 symptom when 6 other symptoms say it isnt.
Happy Chicken Tender here!
