ok last week i found 4 2 week old chicks under my broddy hen for 2 weeks i never she had any chicks under her i was amazed that she acctually hade chicks under her

nesting boxes are a good idea because if you dont have any they will lay on the floor and that is a very bad habit because some of them will eat the eggs

he looks like an americana but not 100% sure

depends on the hen i have had them lay outside when they had easy accsess to a nesting box
