I can sometimes get $35 out of my well laying popular breeds like Buff Orpingtons and Easter Eggers. I usually get $25 out of the not as popular breeds, and $5 out of old chickens that don't lay anymore.

When they first start laying, they will be a little funky with their egg production.

Hi, I have gotten a few ducks from that hatchery. They were quality and looked like they had been treated with care.

http://pronouncedpoultry.weebly.com and http://metzerfarms.com are both good places. I mostly order from metzer, but pronounced poultry is good for if you want just a few birds to pick up close by.
