This is my almost 2yr old stag Bruce Wayne (Bruce). I'd love to give him to someone who only plans on having one rooster with a smaller flock of hens.
Someone who will treat him well. I'm selling him for 10-15 dollars to recoup a miniscule amount of money spent on him. You'll have to supply a...
Chick update! Got them moved outside last month. They're doing great!
I'm debating on color tagging them for easier naming and identification.
Since they hatched the first week of July I'm gonna give them patriotic names. I had people on Reddit give me names.
Still haven't finished the double...
I think it is. His camera isn't great and I had to zoom in some to see it. 😅 Thank goodness.
He was worried about the poopy butt and I think it's just getting used to the food.😁
The other one isn't having any problems at all and they're both energetic.
So my friend has 2 chicks and he's noticed one has been extra poopy lately and cleaning it pretty regularly. He took a picture and I noticed an extra hole below the cloaca. I think it's a bot fly hole and need advice on how to properly clean it if the bot fly larvae is even still inside.
The...
So I just gave one dose of rooster booster poultry cell just to see if that did anything. The chicks are doing great. I think that one was just hot or something. It wasn't coughing or sneezing just breathing quickly so 🤷♀️.
I was probably a little overly cautious at the time.
I've also considered acorns after leaching as another protein source. There's some deer feed that's entirely ground Acorn but I don't think it's been leached. Definitely wouldn't be used as heavily as sweet potato but would definitely be beneficial to some extent.
I could also just make a...
So I've been considering making feed to sell locally in the far flung future and I just don't understand all the big chemical and additive names. I've done a small amount of research on some replacement foods and I've seen people in Asia making their own feed with plants.
Boiled and dehydrated...
I'm planning on building some stag pens soon to house the roosters I currently have that I don't want to breed. Just doing 2 for now to house Bruce and possibly Cassandra along with the chicks as a grow out pen. Then 2 more to further house the roosters since there's 5 of the new boys.
I'll post...
Was looking into the bald eagle project again and I found this old post. Not sure if this breeding would work or not but I suppose it's worth a try in the future. I just wonder how I could get the choclate color instead of the Buff.
I suppose I might have to breed the finished white Buff white...
