I think my hens have mites what do I do? They both start itching with their beaks all the time and sometimes break their feathers. Does anyone know how to get rid of mites?

My hen Oreo passed away this morning. I am thinking it’s from old age seeing that her legs were pale and she just looked old. This is the case for my other hens too. This has me worried about what will happen when one of the hens passes on and I am left with one chicken. I don’t want anymore chickens. What do I do when this happens?

Is it normal for hens to pluck out their feathers? I heard they do it when their stressed but my hens have everything they need to thrive. She started plucking her feathers before my rooster died so she didn’t start because of that. I don’t know why she’s doing it. Does anyone know why? This is what my hen, Sto, looks like now.
