I have some 8 week old barred rocks that I'm hoping to caponize in the next few days. I do have some questions for the folks that have had success with this.
1) Will 12 hours without food be long enough? Can they have water during this time?
2) How active are the birds after the...
Nice buck! I hunt public land here but it's 'controlled' so the number of hunters allowed is limited and we are all pretty much on the same page. Usually only 10 or less antlered bucks are taken off the property and most are 2.5 or 3.5. There are some bigger bucks around but they are almost...
I love that last picture of the bear. (but it's not my trailcam. ;) )
I know hogs are bad... but I'm jealous of you guys and gals that can hunt them in your area.
Bowhunting has been kind of slow here. The place I hunt was hit by EHD and the drought caused the oaks to abort most all the...

I also got a bit of video from a...

This proposed rule would...
I've posted this pic before but it fits here so I'll post it again. This is Roz.
I've had her for four years now but she was an old hen when I got her. She had two owners before she came here. I'd guess her to be at least seven. She had 'stew hen' written all over her when I got her...
KY small producer rules. Your state is pretty easy but there's still more to it than just a 'best by' date.
